This painting is from a series of photographs taken by Stephanie Cox taken in the Lakes Entrance area (Victoria, Australia). What attracted me to this picture was the subtle pink colour and the ripple action that work their way through the water around the swans. |

I also wanted to show up the contrast of the dark coloured birds against these soft colours. I feel it conveys a feeling of serenity and calm, a feeling I certainly felt as I was producing the work. |
