The final painting from the original preliminary drawing has turned out to be a different ratio. Sometimes we are restricted by our materials. I also decided to change the sky and the composition to suit. I had also just seen an amazing sunset recently and wanted to incorporate it into a painting whist it was fresh in my head. It was a chance to try out the palette knives again, and try new approaches. Which was fun. |
