Oil Painting of the sea shore in Frankston area (Victoria, Australia) during winter on nine individual canvasses mounted on framed black painted board. The frame is plain black and is in addition to the size of the work. |
After the recent successful reception and requests for similar works to Sea Shell I was encouraged to do one or two more variations on that theme. |
After some preliminary sketches I came up with two layouts that I was happy with. The colours are very like the sea shore in Frankston where I have taken some of my recent "resource" photos. |
It is hoped that the eventual owner will think of sitting on the shoreline in this lovely area when they display the work in their home. I am not trying to make a photographic record, merely to bring to mind the feeling of the shore in winter time. |
