Mornington Art 2010
Saturday, 23 January 2010 It has been a few years since I have attended an art show run by a Rotary club, the last one I recall was the Camberwell Rotary Art Show (few years ago). I enjoy seeing the variety of styles and mediums at these exhibitions. It is also good to see the works of new artists who are bravely showing their works to the public. A colleague and I spent an couple of hours browsing the submissions at this year's event.

Artist of the Year Awards 2009
Monday, 12 December 2009 This last year has been one of some great highs and some distinct lows. The better part of the year has been my continued growth as a fine artist. Receiving (joint) second place for Artist of The Year Awards for McClelland Guild of Artists has confirmed that my fine art career is heading in the right direction.

McClelland Guild of Artists Yearly Assessment, 2009
Saturday, 03 October 2009 Mcclelland Guild of Artists have an Assessment Day every year for members to bring work in to be displayed and assessed in front of all members and guests of their end of year meeting. This year the assessment was performed by Glenn Hoyle.

Monday, 20 July 2009 The Brett Whitely exhibit at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery during July 2009 was a small showing of his life's work. Monday, 29 June 2009 Above the Mantle in Frankston (Victoria, Australia) is a place you can go as an artist to get great advice and most importantly not feel embarrassed for asking questions because, as many of us know, framing can make or break a work and definitely makes a difference as to the value and marketability.
