Pastel portrait, on paper, of a Jack Russell dog called Fletcher, owned by my neighbours. This very typical, if not brief pose for this little dog who frequented the property whenever he could. He was usually on the move so much that taking a photo is nearly impossible, but kindly sat still for about 30 seconds, trying not to look to guilty. The owners were thrilled with this portrait which now graces their home. |

Fletcher is a pure bred Jack Russell and has been visiting us since he was a puppy. He is bursting with personality and all our animals love him - as we do. He goes for walks with us and has kept me company in the studio and even when at home sick. |

The portrait is done in pastel as a quick study. His owners have a copy of the original photo. |
